How It Works… |
A CSA shareholder will receive a portion of the farm’s harvest weekly from June through October. Members receive the freshest, highest quality naturally grown produce available at low cost.
|
The Benefits… |
Naturally grown vegetables, harvested at their peak of nutritional value.
A large variety of vegetables and herbs.
The opportunity to learn how your food is grown.
Support of the local economy, the community, and local agriculture.
|
The Risks… |
Each growing season brings challenges. There are times a crop may fail due to conditions beyond our control. Our goal is to provide you with a wealth of produce by growing a variety of products.
|
What You Get…. |
The growing season will affect the size of your weekly share, but our goal is to provide you with a large bag of produce. Here is a sample of what produce you can expect:
June
Head lettuce, radishes, beets and spinach.
August
Summer Squash, zucchini, eggplant, peppers, tomatoes, corn, green beans, broccoli.
October
Corn, cabbage, butternut squash, potatoes, carrots, acorn squash, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, and pumpkins
|
Distribution… |
Members choose one of several days to come to the farm to pick up their produce.
If for some reason you are unable to pick up your share, a friend, neighbor, or family member may accept it for you.
Please call or email us with any questions or concerns. We look forward to having you become a part of our CSA family.
